This version of QuickBooks requires Microsoft Internet Explorer version 6.0 or later.
To install Internet Explorer: If you do not have the required version of Internet Explorer on your computer when you install QuickBooks, it will be installed along with QuickBooks. (If you already have a later version, QuickBooks will not replace it.)
To check your version of Internet Explorer: Start Internet Explorer. From the browsers Help menu, choose About Internet Explorer. The version will be listed in the window that appears.
To reinstall Internet Explorer: If you ever need to reinstall, we recommend that you download and install the latest version of Internet Explorer from the Microsoft Download Center.
Important: QuickBooks has not been tested with beta versions of browsers and may not function properly with this type of browser installed on your computer.
On the Microsoft Download Center page, search for Internet Explorer and select the latest nonbeta version (there may also be a direct link that you can click to obtain the latest version). Follow the onscreen instructions to download and install.
Please do not reinstall Internet Explorer from the QuickBooks installation CD. If Internet Explorer has been updated since it was installed, installing an earlier version from the CD could cause functional problems with QuickBooks.
If you encounter any problems while downloading or installing the latest version of Internet Explorer from the Microsoft Web site, please contact Microsoft Help and Support.
Once the browser has been installed successfully, if you encounter problems using browserbased features in QuickBooks (for example, windows that contain a Back button), please contact QuickBooks Technical Support.
