Detailed Instructions
| Note: Installing QuickBooks Customer Manager or
QuickBooks Client Manager does not required that a prior version be
installed on the computer. To install QuickBooks Customer Manager, please
follow these steps: - Save the data in all open programs, and then close the
programs.
- Insert the program CD into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
If the installation does not start automatically, please refer to
"Manually installing QuickBooks Customer Manager and Client Manager
when the autorun utility does not start."
- When prompted, enter your Installation Key
Code that is found on the back of your CD sleeve. . If you
are unable to locate your Installation Key Code, please refer to Missing
or illegible installation key code.
- Please read the License Agreement carefully:
- If you do not agree to the terms of the agreement, follow these
steps:
- Leave the default, "I do not agree to the terms of the
agreement," selected.
- Click Cancel, and then click
Yes in the Exit Setup window to
cancel the setup.
- Refer to
"Exchanging or returning a QuickBooks product" for the steps to
return the product.
- If you do agree to the terms of the agreement, select "I accept
the terms of the license agreement," and then click
Next.
- In the Choose a Setup Type window, click
Express (which we recommend) to install the
program and its database to their default locations, or click
Custom to install the program and its database to
a different location.
Click Next in the Destination
Location window, and review your installation
settings: If you want to change the install location, click
Change and enter the new location.Click
OK and then click Next. If you want to leave the selected destination, click
Next. In the Start Copying Files window, click
Next. In the Setup Status window, click
Next. At the "Installation of the Microsoft.NET Framework can take
five minutes or more" message, please wait until the installation
is complete and the QuickBooks Repair Utility
window appears. In the QuickBooks Repair Utility window,
click OK. Click OK to the message, "No repair
necessary. . No files changed." In the Setup Complete window, click
Finish. Restart your computer.
To install QuickBooks Client Manager, please follow
these steps: Save the data in all open programs, and then close the
programs. - Insert the program CD into the CD-ROM drive of your computer.
If the installation does not start automatically, please refer to

- If you want to leave the selected destination, click
Next.

Next.

is complete and the QuickBooks Repair Utility

- In the QuickBooks Repair Utility window, click
OK.
