Registering a copy of QuickBooks that has never been registered

• To register online:
  1. Follow the instructions for your version of QuickBooks.
     • QuickBooks 2007 and 2008: Select the Help menu, and then select Register QuickBooks >Begin Registration.
     • QuickBooks 2006 and Simple Start: Select the Help menu, and then select Register QuickBooks > Online.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.

• To register by phone:
  1. Follow the instructions for your version of QuickBooks.
     • QuickBooks 2006 and later: Select the Help menu, and then select Register QuickBooks and write down the License and Product numbers shown.
     • QuickBooks Simple Start: Select the Help menu, and then select Register QuickBooks and write down the serial number shown there.
  2. Call the following phone number:
     • From within the U.S.
       • QuickBooks 2007 and 2008: Call 800-316-1068.
       • QuickBooks 2006 and Simple Start: Call 800-579-6669.
     • From outside the U.S., call +1 520-901-3220.

Registering a copy of QuickBooks that was registered previously

• QuickBooks 2006 and later:
  1. Select the Help menu, and then select Register QuickBooks.
  2. Write down the License and Product numbers shown there.
  3. Within the U.S., call 800-316-1068. Outside the U.S., call +1 520-901-3220.

• QuickBooks Simple Start:
  1. Select the Help menu, and then select Register QuickBooks.
  2. Select Phone.
  3. In the Registration number field, enter the registration number.
  4. Click OK.
     Note: If a message appears that the number you entered is invalid or if you do not know the registration number:
     • Within the U.S., call 800-579-6669 for assistance.
     • Outside the U.S., call +1 520-901-3220.
