  • To register online:
    1. Open QuickBooks.
    2. Choose Help then choose:

    3. Follow the onscreen instructions.
  • To register by phone:
    1. Open QuickBooks.
    2. Choose Help > Register QuickBooks.
    3. Write down the following information:
      • QuickBooks 2007 and later: The license and product numbers that appear.
      • QuickBooks Simple Start: The serial number that appears.
    4. Call the following phone number:
      • From within the U.S., call 888-246-8848 (select option 3).
      • From outside the U.S., call +1 520-901-3220 (select option 2).

Register a copy of QuickBooks that was registered previously

  • QuickBooks 2007 and later:
    1. Open QuickBooks.
    2. Choose Help > Register QuickBooks.
    3. Write down the license and product numbers that appear.
    4. Call the following phone number:
      • From within the U.S., call 888-246-8848 (select option 3).

  • QuickBooks Simple Start:
    1. Open QuickBooks.
    2. Choose Help > Register QuickBooks.
