Customer or Vendor Notes do not appear after updating to the latest release

What is happening

In the Customer and Vendor Centers, the notes in the information panels do not display after updating to the R7 release.

Why is this happening

In the R7 release for QuickBooks 2009, we implemented a security enhancement to prevent users without specific access from seeing notes in a given area. Notes, . For example, if a user does not have payroll or admin permissions, they will not be able to view employee notes any longer. Notes, . After this enhancement a user without these permissions must click Edit Notes to view or edit them.
