Transferring money out of Opening Bal Equity

1. Go to the Company menu, choose Lists, and then click Chart of Accounts.

2. Double-click the Opening Bal Equity account.

3. Enter the amount in the Decrease column of the register.

4. In the Account field, enter the name of the equity account where you are transferring the money.

5. Click Record.
