ViewMyPaycheck is an online portal that provides your employees with one-stop self-service access to their payroll and tax information.
You, as the employer, sign up free of charge to take advantage of the ViewMyPaycheck service and enable it in QuickBooks. From then on, after every payroll run, QuickBooks
automatically prompts you to log in and send pay stub information to ViewMyPaycheck. You can also send historical pay stub information and W-2 information for your employees to view.
After you sign up for ViewMyPaycheck, you can invite your employees to create their individual accounts (login and password) on ViewMyPaycheck.com.
To do this task
Be sure that the contact information for each employee in QuickBooks contains a valid first name, last name, and email address.
From the Employees menu, click Send to ViewMyPaycheck.com.
Sign in to ViewMyPaycheck. You may be prompted to create an Intuit Online Account if you don't already have one.
When you've completed the connection sign-in, click Return to QuickBooks.
QuickBooks sends your company and employee information to set up ViewMyPaycheck online. QuickBooks then asks whether you want to send historic pay stub information to ViewMyPaycheck.
If you want to send historic pay stub information, confirm the date range for the pay stubs you want to send, and click Send.
If you don't want to send historic pay stubs, click Skip.
Online, invite your employees to set up their individual ViewMyPaycheck accounts.
When you run your next payroll, QuickBooks gives you the option of letting QuickBooks automatically send pay stubs every time you create paychecks or of reminding you each time. If you choose not to send pay stubs at the end of a payroll run,
you can send them later by choosing Related Payroll Activities > Send to ViewMyPaycheck.com from the Payroll Center.
