Order W-2, W-3, 1099-MISC and 1096 forms

Tax forms are used to report such items as employee wages and salaries to federal, state, local agencies, and your employees.

Because tax form printing formats can change from year to year, be sure to order new forms each tax year. How do QuickBooks Payroll subscribers get form updates?

QuickBooks Payroll subscribers receive updates to the form layouts that QuickBooks uses when printing your forms. Updates may be required to print data correctly onto forms in the years following the QuickBooks publish date. Subscribing to a payroll service keeps you current with the correct form updates.

Forms W-2 and W-3

The IRS requires that certain copies of your Forms W-2 and W-3 be printed on preprinted forms and accepts other copies on blank, perforated paper.

Forms 1099-MISC and 1096

Forms 1099-MISC and Form 1096 forms must be printed on preprinted forms.
