Registration entitles you to many
benefits including access to technical support and notification of product
upgrades.
You can use QuickBooks up to 30 days without registering. After 30 days, you must register to continue using QuickBooks.
There is no charge to register QuickBooks.
Note: QuickBooks no longer uses registration numbers.
To do this task
Note: Make a note of the address and phone number you use for registration. You will need
this information again if you ever need to re-register your copy of QuickBooks.
Register a single-user license (or more than one single-user license)
Go to the Help menu and click Register QuickBooks.
If you do not see Register QuickBooks on the Help menu
Register QuickBooks is available on the Help menu only if you have not yet registered your copy of QuickBooks. You can verify that your copy of QuickBooks is registered by pressing
the F2 key when QuickBooks is open. The
Product Information window displays either REGISTERED or UNREGISTERED based on the registration status.
Choose your registration method:
To let QuickBooks check for the best method, click Begin Registration. You will be directed to either online or phone registration.
To call Intuit to register, click Skip online check and register by phone to see the phone number to use to register your QuickBooks.
Follow the prompts to complete the registration process.
Register a 5-user license
Register any one of the copies you installed by following the steps listed above for "Registering a single-user license (or more than one single-user license)".
Once that copy is registered, register the remaining copies by opening each copy of QuickBooks and clicking Register QuickBooks from the Help menu.
Choose your registration method:
To register online, click Begin Registration. QuickBooks will detect that you have already registered and you will be asked to provide the ZIP code and phone number you used when registering your first copy of QuickBooks.
To call Intuit to register, click Skip online check and register by phone to see the
phone number to use to register your QuickBooks.
Repeat steps 2 and 3 for each remaining copy of QuickBooks.

How do I change my registration information?
If you need to update your registration information, call 1-888-246-8848 (1-888-2INTUIT) and
select the option for Customer Service.
How can I find out if QuickBooks is already registered?
Press the F2 key when QuickBooks is open. The

Where is my registration number?
QuickBooks no longer uses registration numbers. The license number you received when you purchased QuickBooks
takes the place of what was formerly known as a "registration" number.
You can find your license number on a sticker with your CD or by choosing About QuickBooks
from the Help menu.
