Find data you added to QuickBooks

When you use the add data wizard to add information from your spreadsheets to your QuickBooks company file, you can view that data using the lists in QuickBooks.

To find customers you added

  1. Click the Customers icon at the top of the QuickBooks window.

  2. View all of the customers in your company file in the list on the left side of the center. The customers you added using the wizard don't look any different than other customers in the list.

  3. In the list, double-click a customer you added.

  4. In the Edit Customer window, review the details of the customer you added. Use this window to add or change data for the customer.

To find vendors you added

  1. Click the Vendor Center icon at the top of the QuickBooks window.

  2. View all of the vendors in your company file in the list on the left side of the center. The vendors you added using the wizard don't look any different than other vendors in the list.

  3. In the list, double-click a vendor you added.

  4. In the Edit Vendor window, review the details of the vendor you added. Use this window to add or change data for the vendor.

To find products (items) you added

Note: In QuickBooks, the term "items" means the same thing as the term "products."

  1. Go to the Lists menu and click Item List.

  2. All of the products in your company file are in the Item List. The products you added using the wizard don't look any different than other products in the list.

  3. In the list, double-click a product you added.

  4. In the Edit Item window, review the details of the product you added. Use this window to add or change data for the item.
