Sometimes QuickBooks can't match a downloaded transaction with its counterpart in the register because the transaction in QuickBooks is wrong.
If this happens, you can correct the transaction in QuickBooks.
To do this task
Find the incorrect transaction in the register.
Select the transaction and make the necessary changes.
You can either:
Click the Edit Transaction button to open the proper business form and use it to make the changes (recommended).
Make the changes directly in the register, if you are comfortable doing so and the transaction does not require items (advanced).
Click Record to save your changes.
QuickBooks automatically matches the corrected transaction to the downloaded one next time you open the Add Transactions to QuickBooks window. Matched transactions are marked with a in your register.
