Multiple rates in a workers compensation report

Workers compensation reports display the current rates in the WC Rate and Exp. Mod. columns.

  • If you had more than one rate for a particular workers compensation code during the period covered by a report, only the latest rate used during that period appears in the WC Rate column.

  • Similarly, if you had more than one rate for your experience modification factor during the period covered by a report, only the latest rate used during that period appears in the Exp. Mod. column.

However:

  • If you drill down into your reports using QuickZoom, the report will show the different rates used during the period of the report.

  • The amounts in the WC Premium and Adj. WC Premium show the correct amounts that accrued during the period of the report.

QuickBooks totals the amounts in the WC Premium and Adj. WC Premium columns in the summary report by totaling the corresponding amounts in each transaction included in the period covered by the report. Drill down into the report using QuickZoom to see each individual transaction. QuickBooks adds up the amounts in the WC Premium and Adj. WC Premium columns to get the total WC Premium and Adj. WC Premium displayed in the summary report.
