Check the status of an e-payment

Processing times for electronic tax payments (e-payments) vary from agency to agency. Some agencies process e-payments immediately, so you may be able to check the status right after you submit the e-payment from QuickBooks.

Other agencies can take up to 48 hours after the e-payment is submitted to process the e-payment, so you may want to wait 24 to 48 hours before you check the status.

To do this task

  1. Open the Payroll Center.

  2. Click the Related Payment Activities menu drop-down arrow and then click View E-payment History.

  3. Review the e-payment status.
