If you haven't written any paychecks that should have included the new tax

You are completely set up. You do not have to do anything else.

When you create new paychecks dated after the effective date of the new tax, they will include the correct amounts for both the new tax and state unemployment insurance.

If the tax is not yet effective, paychecks dated before the effective date will not include the new tax.
