Set up all payroll taxes for a state

What you need before you set up all taxes for a state

To do this task

  1. Go to the Employees menu and click Payroll Setup. Shortcut

  2. Click Step 4, "Taxes."

    Important: Before setting up company taxes, you must have completed Steps 1 through 3 of the payroll setup interview, which include setting up your company information and setting up payroll information for your employees.

  3. Follow the onscreen instructions, which will guide you step-by-step through the process of setting up state taxes.
