Can I print check numbers and account information directly on my checks?

QuickBooks does not allow you to add check numbers or account information directly to your checks. However, the following describes the choices that you do have.

What must be preprinted on my purchased checks?

QuickBooks requires that your checks have preprinted bank account, routing, and individual check numbers.

What can I add to my checks before printing them?

You can add, edit, and print check payment and company-related information directly onto your checks:

  • Written and dollar amounts.

  • Your company name, address, and logo (if not already preprinted).

  • Payee name.

  • Mailing label information.

  • Check memo text.
