When a withholding amount is 0.00

This usually happens when the wages are very small.

For example, in 2004, a married person with two exemptions making $13,000 will not have any Federal Withholding.

This can also happen if you selected "Don't Withhold" as the employee's filing status in the Taxes section of the employee's record. (For information on changing this setting, see Changing payroll information for an employee.)
