Why should I review paychecks?

When you review a paycheck, you can do the following:

  • View the amounts QuickBooks calculated for each payroll item on the paycheck.

  • Enter or edit the number of hours worked.

  • Enter or edit the class per payroll item or per paycheck, if you use class tracking.

  • Enter or edit the Customer:Job information.

  • Enter or edit the amount or rate for any payroll item.

  • Enter the base quantities on which to calculate commissions, additions, and deductions.

  • Add or delete wage, commission, addition, or deduction payroll items.

  • Enter sick and vacation hours.

  • Use the calculator to calculate amounts.
