Who needs to report allocated tips?

A large food and beverage establishment is required to allocate tips to employees when the total amount for tips reported by employees is less than the IRS-approved percentage of the establishment's gross receipts.

If you are not sure whether you need to report allocated tips, check with the IRS or your accountant.
