Working with Employee transactions

Use the Employee Center to quickly find, print, or edit employee transactions without having to run reports.

Click Employee Center and then click the Employees tab to display your list of employees or the Transactions tab to view a list of transactions related to your employees.

To view transactions for a single employee

  1. Click the Employees tab and select an employee from the list to quickly view all transactions for that employee.

Information about the selected employee appears in the Employee Information section, and transactions associated with that employee appear in the list of transactions. You can choose to view all your employees, or only your active or released employees. See Using the Employees list.

  2. Do any of the following:

    • Click the Show drop-down arrow to choose the type of transaction that appears in the list

    • Click the Date drop-down arrow to restrict the date range for transactions

To view transactions for all employees

  1. Click the Transactions tab.

  2. Click to select one of the listed transaction types, such as Paychecks, Liability Checks, or Year-to-Date Adjustments.

The transaction list on the right displays each instance of the selected transaction type.

  3. Click the Date drop-down arrow to restrict the date range for the transactions.

To print the transaction list as it is currently displayed

  • From the Employees tab, click Print at the top of the Employee Center and then click Employee Transaction List.

  • Right-click the transaction list and click:

    • View Transaction History to view the history or View Transaction Journal journal entry for the selected transaction.

    • Edit Transaction to make changes to the selected transaction.

    • Customize Columns to add or remove the columns that appear in the transaction list.
