You must send your direct deposit paychecks to the payroll service by
5:00 p.m. (Pacific time) at least 2 banking days before the paycheck date in order for your employees
to receive their funds on the paycheck date.

If you send direct deposit paychecks later than 2 days before the paycheck date, QuickBooks
warns you that employees will not be paid on the paycheck date and indicates the date on which employees
will be paid.
Important: The payroll service cannot guarantee that the funds will
appear in the employee's account by the stated date. Advise your employees
with direct deposit to check with their financial institution to see how it
handles direct deposits and when funds are posted.
To help prevent inadvertent errors in entering the paycheck date, QuickBooks does not allow you
to create direct deposit paychecks dated earlier than 7 banking days prior to the current date.
