Generate payroll summary reports

All of the following reports begin with the same base report: payroll summary.

  • To determine gross wages and taxes withheld or accrued for each employee and for all employees for the date range you specify, create the payroll summary report.

  • If the state form asks for the wage base for a tax, you can determine the wage base by using QuickZoom (double-clicking) on an amount in the payroll summary report.

  • To calculate state taxes paid, create a different version of the payroll summary report.
