You can change a sales order after saving it.
If you're using sales orders to
track backorders, be aware that changing an item's Ordered quantity automatically changes that item's
Backordered quantity on both the sales order and any invoices you may have already created based on the sales order.
To do this task
Find and open the sales order.
To change the sales order, do any of the following:
To insert a new line, right-click in the row where you want to add the line and then click Insert Line. The line you click and all lines below it are moved down one line.
To delete a line, right-click in the line and then click Delete Line.
To replace one item with another, choose a different item in the Item drop-down list.
Make any other necessary changes.
Save the sales order.
