Troubleshooting an integrated application that isn't responding

QuickBooks attempted to launch an application, but cannot determine if the application is responding. If the application responds, simply ignore this message. Otherwise, try to resolve the problem using one of the following solutions:

  • An error may have occurred with the application. If the application is currently running, restarting it may fix the problem. If the error persists, you may need to reinstall the application or contact the developer of the application.

  • An error may have occurred with your system. Try restarting your computer.

  • If you are not able to resolve the problem, the QuickBooks Administrator can remove the application from QuickBooks.

    Only the QuickBooks Administrator can do this task.

    Open the integrated applications preferences.

    1. Go to the Edit menu and click Preferences.

    2. In the Preferences window, click Integrated Applications in the list on the left.

    3. Click the Company Preferences tab.

    Note that removing the application in this manner will remove all integration between the application and QuickBooks.
