Show debit/credit columns on a report

Most QuickBooks reports come set to show an Amount column. If you prefer to see columns for debits and credits, rather than positive and negative numbers under an Amount column, you can customize your reports to add those columns.

To do this task

  1. Click Customize Report at the top of the report. The Modify Report window opens to the Display tab.

  2. In the Columns list, deselect Amount.

  3. Choose Credit and Debit.

  4. Click OK.
