What's important about the Report Filters window

You use this window to change the scope of the current report. For example, you can limit the report to activities performed on specific dates.

List of filters (Activity date, Name, etc.)

Each filter represents a specific way you can restrict the scope of the report. When you select a filter, QuickBooks displays fields for you to fill in. The fields ask for information that QuickBooks needs to know to apply the filter to the report.

This table shows all of the filters settings that currently apply to the report.

Change a filter setting

To do this task

  1. Click the filter in the table.

  2. Enter your new settings in the fields that appear.

Apply another filter to the report

To do this task

  1. Select the filter from the Filter scroll box.

  2. Fill in the fields that appear.

Remove a filter from the report

To do this task

  1. Click the filter in the table.

  2. Click Delete.
