Why don't I see the icon bar?

If you don't see the icon bar on the QuickBooks desktop, you might have closed it or your screen resolution may be too low.

  • If you previously hid the icon bar, you can open the icon bar again.

    1. Go to the View menu and click Icon Bar.

  • If the icon bar still does not appear, there may be insufficient room to display it due to low screen resolution. More...

    If your screen resolution is set to 640 X 480 (small fonts) or 800 X 600 (large fonts), the icon bar can't be displayed.

    1. Increase your screen resolution to at least 600 X 800 (small fonts).

    2. Go to the View menu and click Icon Bar.
