If the Verify Data utility detects
damaged transactions in your company file, you can run Rebuild Data to correct
Because Rebuild Data can cause additional problems that can increase the
difficulty of recovering your data file, we do not recommend running Rebuild
Data unless directed to do so by a technical support representative.
Note: The Rebuild Data utility requires that you
back up your company first. If a technical support
representative asks you to run Rebuild Data, you will need to have formatted
disks on hand for the backup.
To do this task
Close all open windows.
Go to the File menu, choose Utilities, and then click Rebuild Data.
Run the Verify Data utility again.
