Occasionally, your client may encounter problems while importing the changes you made in the Accountant's Copy. This usually happens when both you and your client have made changes to the same transaction. The Import Accountant's Changes window, which your client sees when importing your changes, displays the problem transaction with an error so they can identify the problem.
Important: You can't resolve the problem by changing the transaction in the Accountant's Copy and exporting your changes to the accountant's change file (.qby) again. The most recent change is saved as an additional change. It doesn't overwrite the previous change that may be causing the problem.
Talk to your client about the transaction causing the error. You and your client may decide the client should delete the transaction in their company file to prevent a conflict with the version of the transaction in the Accountant's Copy change file. You client should:
Restore the backup of their company file saved before importing your changes.
Delete the conflicting transaction.
Reimport your changes.
If your client continues to get an error, they can enter your changes manually. Your client should:
Print your changes from the Import Accountant's Changes window.
Remove the Accountant's Copy restrictions.
Enter your changes manually.
