EasySaver is a new product from Intuit that helps you save money. First, we negotiate discounts with select vendors using the combined purchasing power of millions of QuickBooks customers. Second, we examine your previous purchases to find specific recommendations that might save you money. Finally, if we find items that are similar to yours, we recommend them as ways to save. We make the recommendations in the Edit Item window so we don't interrupt your work flow.
What data is used for EasySaver?
In QuickBooks, we use the item name, the item description, and the item ID to try to find similar matches. No other item information and no personally identifiable information is used.
How does it work?
Our partner Rearden Commerce helps us make recommendations. Rearden examines the item information and finds matches from the hundreds of suppliers participating in EasySaver.
How do I turn EasySaver off?
Choose Edit > Preferences > General.
Click the Company Preferences tab.
Click to clear the checkbox next to Show me EasySaver recommendations by analyzing my item descriptions.
