QuickBooks asked you some questions during setup. Based on these answers, QuickBooks turned certain features on or off. However, it's easy to change your mind and turn features on/off after set up:
Change QuickBooks preferences
Add more features by signing up for QuickBooks services such as Online Banking and Payroll.
Use Preferences to turn the following features on/off. For example, to track inventory in QuickBooks, turn the feature on in Preferences. Or if you don't use reminders, set the preference so that it doesn't open each time you use QuickBooks.
To do this task
Choose Edit > Preferences.
Select preferences for the features you want to turn on or off.
Click the OK button.
