On the Background & Logo page, you can:
Add a logo to your forms, change your existing logo, or have a logo designed for you.
Select a background for your forms.
Add a shadow image of your logo to the background of your forms.
As you make your choices, the preview in the right pane changes to show how your selections will look on your forms.

Add a logo
A logo is a small graphical image that uniquely identifies you, your business, and your brand.
If you have a logo for your business, you can add it to your forms or change the logo that you already use. If you don't have a logo for your business, you can have one created for you—just click the Need a Logo? button.
What if I already have a logo?
If you already have a logo that you use on your forms, and want to continue using it, you don't need to add a logo here.
Your existing logo won't appear on the preview in the right pane. However, it's kept with the new design you create here. After you finish customizing your forms, you can see the logo on your new design when you create a new transaction and click Print Preview.
What kind of file can I use for my logo?
You can use almost any kind of graphic file for your logo. But there are some considerations:
QuickBooks resizes logos to fit the 100 pixels by 100 pixels space on your form. It's best to have a logo image that's already about that size.
QuickBooks converts your logo to a .PNG file when you apply the logo to your forms.
The default location for a logo on your forms is in the upper left, alongside your business information. But you can also add a shadow image of your logo to the background of your forms.
You can add a logo stored on your computer or one that you've previously saved online to your Intuit account.
To add or change a logo stored on your computer
Click the appropriate button:
To add a logo, click Add.
To change a logo, click Change.
Next to the Filename field, click Browse.
Browse to the folder where your graphic file is located, select the file, and then click Open.
To add or change a logo already saved to your Intuit account
To remove a logo, click Remove.
Click Use a previously uploaded logo.
If you haven't already done so, sign in to your Intuit account by entering your User ID and Password and then clicking Sign In.
Select the logo that you want to use and click Add Selected Logo To Product.
A shadow logo is a larger version of your logo in light shades of gray, located behind the grid on your forms. You must add your logo first before you can use it as a shadow logo.
To add a shadow logo, select the Add shadow logo checkbox.
To remove a logo, click Remove Logo.
Intuit Creative Services sponsors logo creation through an auction process. You define the logo specifications (size, color, and so on) and how much you want to spend. Designers, if they are willing to do the work for what you offer, make suggestions, which you can then refine. When you decide and are happy with the design, you get the logo and the winning designer gets the money.

Select a background
Backgrounds are available in a variety of styles, and include photographic elements, stylized iconography, and colorful borders, all carefully rendered to not obscure your data. Intuit offers backgrounds in several industry-specific themes, as well as backgrounds suitable for any business.
(Optional) To view backgrounds for a specific industry, click the Industry drop-down arrow and select an industry from the list.
To select a background, click the thumbnail image.
(Optional) To select a color scheme (if available), click one of the color blocks below a thumbnail.
Click Next to go to step 2.
