About file formats for logos used on forms

You can use any standard image file format for your printed or e-mailed forms, such as:

  • JPEG file format (.jpg file extension)

  • GIF file format (.gif file extension)

  • Bitmap file format (.bmp file extension)

Keep in mind that Bitmaps (.bmp) are generally slower to redraw, especially if the image file size is large (over 2 MB). Saving your image as a JPEG file format (.jpg) usually helps reduce the file size.

You can create, edit, or convert a logo in a graphical program such as Microsoft® Paint. For more information on creating, editing, or converting images, see your graphical program's Help documentation.
