You can use the Vendor Center to find and edit vendor transactions.
You can also use the Find feature to locate specific transactions.
Go to the Vendors menu and click Vendor Center.
Click the Vendors tab.
Select a vendor from the list.
Transactions for that vendor appear in the transaction list on the right side of the Customer Center. Can't see the transaction list?
If you can't see the transaction list because the Vendors list is expanded to the entire width of the Vendor Center window, right-click the Customers & Jobs list and choose Show Customer List and Details.
You can change the contents of the Vendors list to show All Vendors, Active Vendors, or Vendors with Open Balances, or you can create your own custom filter. How?
Use the View list to modify the set of customers and jobs you see.
Choose All Vendors to see both your active and inactive vendors.
Choose Active Vendors to see only your active vendors.
Choose Vendors with Open Balances to see only your vendors with any kind of open balance.
Choose Custom Filter to search your vendor list for specific entries. For example, you might search for one particular vendor or all vendors in a specific city.
If you want to limit the transaction list to transactions of a particular type (for example bill payments) over a particular date range (for example this year-to-date) use the Show, Filter By, and Date drop-down lists.
In the transaction area, use the Show list to choose the type of transaction that appears in the list.
Use the Filter By list to further specify the set of transactions you see. For example, if you're viewing bills, you can choose to display all bills, open bills, or overdue bills.
Note: The Filter By list options depend on the type of transaction you select. When you display All Transactions, the only Filter By option is All. Choose a specific type of transaction in the Show list to see more Filter By options.
Use the Date list to restrict the date range for the transactions.
Double-click any transaction to open that transaction for editing.
Click the Transactions tab and choose one of the following transaction types:
The transaction list displays each instance of that type of transaction.
If you want to further limit the transactions you see, use the Filter By and Date lists.
Use the Filter By list to narrow down the set of transactions for the particular type you selected. For example, if you're viewing bills, you can choose to display all bills, open bills, or overdue bills.
The Filter By list contents depend on the type of transaction you select.
