Set Calendar preferences

To open these preferences

  1. Choose Edit > Preferences.

  2. In the list at the left of the Preferences window, click the Calendar icon.

Calendar Settings

Use the following preferences to control how the calendar appears each time you open it. These preferences also control which transactions appear on the calendar.

Weekly View

Click the drop-down arrow and select:

  • Show 5 days to show only Monday to Friday, even if the upcoming/past due panel is shown.

    or

  • Show 7 days to always show the entire week, even if the upcoming/past due panel is shown.

    or

  • Variable (5/7 days) to show 5 days if the upcoming and past due panel is open, or 7 days if the panel is closed (recommended for low screen resolutions).

Show

Click the drop-down arrow and select:

  • All transactions to show every transaction type in the calendar, even if you selected specific transactions to show the last time you worked in it.

    or

  • A single transaction type, even if you changed this the last time you worked in the calendar.

Upcoming and Past Due settings

Use the following preferences to control the Upcoming and Past Due panel, which appears on the left side of the calendar.

Display

Click the drop-down arrow and select one of the following:

  • Hide if you don't want to see the Upcoming and Past Due pane

  • Show to see the pane

  • Show only if data exists to show the pane only when QuickBooks has data to display

  • Remember last to use the same settings from your previous calendar session

Upcoming data and Past due data

Click the drop-down arrows and select the number of days for which you want to show data.
