Creating a Income Statement by Class Report in QuickBooks Financial Statement Designer.

Detailed Instructions

To create the report:

  1. Click the Reports menu and click Financial Statement Designer.
  2. Click the New button and click Financial Statement.
  3. Click Income Statement, the appropriate Characteristics and click Create.
  4. Click the Insert menu and click Columns > Blank Column.
  5. Click the blank column and click the Format menu > Column > Column Properties.
  6. Click the Column Type drop-down arrow and click Account Balance.
  7. Click the appropriate class in the Filters Amount fields.
  8. Click OK.

Note: After inserting the column into the financial statement, you can view and change the Column properties using the Properties panel.

QuickBooks 2009 Products

Important: Financial Statement Designer for QuickBooks 2009 is third-party software and does not have the ability to pull and display the Class List from the company file.
