Unable to attach documents

 When trying to attach documents, nothing happens. 

This may be caused by one of the following:

  • As a result of upgrade, the company file location may have changed.
  • The company file name does not match the name of the folder where the attached file is located.
How to fix it

If the company file location has changed, follow the steps from this help article.

If the company file name does not match the name of the folder where the attached file is located:

  1. From your keyboard, press F2 and check the company file path.
  2. Browse to location of the QBW file and check for any trailing spaces at the end of the company file name.  ex. Test .QBW
  3. If space exists at the end, log off the file and remove trailing spaces.
  4. Open company file by browsing to its location.
    Note: Since the file name has changed from Step 3, you will have to browse to the folder location and open file with the new name.
  5. Attach a document again.
