Shipping Manager Error: [250002] Invalid Authentication Information

When opening Shipping Manager to ship a package, Shipping Manager attempts to authenticate the account information and returns a message: Error: [250002] Invalid Authentication Information

Why this is happening

The Shipping Manager account is damaged and must be deleted.

How to fix it

To delete the Shipping Manager account and create a new one:

  1. Open the Shipping Manager Settings for the damaged account.
    • From the File menu select Shipping > Shipping Options > Settings.
  2. Click on Delete Account.
  3. Click OK to the warning that this cannot be undone - it does let you know that the shipping history will be preserved.
  4. The Set up wizard will start to allow you to set up a new account.
