This Program cannot display the webpage or Navigation to the webpage was cancelled

When trying to launch a web page from QuickBooks Desktop you receive one of the following messages:

  • This Program cannot display the webpage.
  • Navigation to the webpage was cancelled or Action  cancelled when trying to receive payments.
What this is happening

Internet Explorer settings may need to be configured for QuickBooks Desktop.

How to fix it

This issue has been resolved in the latest release version of your QuickBooks Desktop.

Important: Ensure that your QuickBooks is up to date before you follow the steps shown below.
