QuickBooks Desktop does not recognize the mapped network drive

When trying to save or open a file in QuickBooks Desktop, the mapped network drive is not listed but it is listed in other applications.

How to fix it
  1. Verify that you can access the mapped network drive outside QuickBooks Desktop.
    1. Open another program such as Notepad.
    2. Save a file to the mapped network drive.
  2. Close QuickBooks Desktop.
  3. Run reboot.bat.
  4. Reopen QuickBooks Desktop.
