Notes do not save on the Transaction tab of credit memos

When an existing credit memo is opened and notes are added through the Transaction tab, the notes are not saved when you click Save & Close or Save & New.

How to fix it

To add notes to the transactions:

  1. With the existing transaction opened, click the Customer tab and click the Edit link or pencil icon (in 2013 and later)
  2. Enter a note referencing the transaction and click OK.

These notes will not appear in the Transaction tab, but will be available in the Customer tab.
