Null in To and CC fields when exporting report as PDF

When exporting a report out of QuickBooks the To and CC fields are prefilled with the word (null)

Why this is happening

Your QuickBooks Reporting preference is set for the wrong Excel format.  Your export preference should match your Excel or Apple Numbers application.

How to fix it

Change your Reporting Preference

  1. From the QuickBooks menu choose Preferences
  2. Select Reporting
  3. Change Export Report As to XLSX for Microsoft Excel 2008, Apple Numbers '09
