Your printer does not display in the Shipping label Printer list in Shipping Manager

You attempt to use QuickBooks Shipping Manager to print labels but cannot find your printer in the list of available printers in Shipping Manager.

How to fix it

Solution: Change the Advanced settings for your printer

  1. On your computer, go to Printers and Faxes or Devices and Printers.
  2. Find and select the printer that is not showing on the Shipping Manager settings, then select Properties or Customize your printer.
  3. Go to the Advanced tab.
  4. Uncheck Print Spooled Documents First or Spool print documents so program finishes printing faster.
  5. Select Print directly to the printer, then click OK.
  6. Return to QuickBooks Shipping Manager.  Your printer should now be available.
