Intuit recommends more than one solution for this problem. The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try all of them to resolve the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown.
First, ensure your time and date settings are correct before proceeding.
Solution 1: License and product number were entered incorrectly
Solution 2: Rename the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file
Solution 3: Internet connection is working and is not blocked by a firewall
Solution 4: Correct the security settings in Internet Explorer.
