When you try to save a .pdf file from QuickBooks Client Data Review or save accountant's changes as a .pdf on a computer where Internet Explorer 9 is installed, you see this error message:
There was an error saving the PDF file. If the problem persists, insert the QuickBooks CD into your computer and the reinstall the software. If you encounter the problem again, contact Technical support.
To resolve the issue, you need to update to the latest release then rename the MSHTML.dll file.
Note: If QuickBooks does not have a shortcut on your desktop, you will need to right click the QuickBooks icon in your Start Menu
If you continue to experience this issue, you will need to uninstall Internet Explorer 9. If you are not comfortable with the process of rolling back your browser, please consult with a local IT professional for assistance.
