Resolve Sync Manager Error Code: 17_xxxx (Batch 2)

17_xxxxx errors indicate that the downloaded data failed when trying to write it to the QB Company (also known as the “writeback” phase of syncing). This can also mean that the user’s system blocked the writeback.

You may see one of the following errors when Sync could not be completed.

  • Error Code: 17_7021: Intuit Sync Manager failed to add data from your online application to your QuickBooks company file during the Sync process.
  • Error Code: 17_7024:  QuickBooks does not recognize Intuit Sync Manager as a trusted application.
  • Error Code: 17_7026: The Intuit Sync Manager application is not selected in QuickBooks preferences (Integrated Applications).
  • Error Code: 17_7028: An error occurred while applying the downloaded data to QuickBooks.
  • Error Code: 17_7032: An error occurred while applying the downloaded data to QuickBooks. Intuit Sync Manager is not allowed to make changes to your company file.
  • Error Code: 17_7033 and 17_7200: The edition of QuickBooks (Pro/Premier/Enterprise) does not match the edition of the company file being synced.
  • Error Code: 17_7036: A filemode mismatch error occured while applying changes to QuickBooks.
  • Error Code: 17_7056: This company file could not be updated with the downloaded data because more than one company file was open in QuickBooks.
  • Error Code: 17_7109: An error occurred while sending a response to the server. 7109:Error while sending writeback
  • Error Code: 17_7112 and 17_7113: An error occurred while trying to save the intermediate response to a file.
  • Error Code: 17_7114 and 17_7115: The error message can vary depending on the action that was being performed in Intuit Sync Manager.
  • Error Code: 17_7201: The version of the company file and that of QuickBooks running do not match.
  • Error Code: 17_7202: Finding a compatible version of QuickBooks failed.
  • Error Code: 17_7300
    • An error occurred while applying the downloaded data to QuickBooks OR
    • The underlying connection was closed A connection that was expected to be kept alive was closed by the server
