Error 392 when downloading Online Banking transactions

When downloading online banking transactions via Direct Connect, you receive the error (392).

How to fix it

Intuit recommends more than one solution for this problem. The first solution may solve your problem, or you may need to try all of them to resolve the issue. For best results, perform the solutions in the order shown.

Solution 1:   Deactivate and reactivate online services for the account

  1. Deactivate online services for all accounts setup for this financial institution
  2. Reactivate the online services for each account
  3. Download the transactions again

Solution 2:   Configure firewall settings to allow QuickBooks to connect to the internet
