You attempt to process a credit card transaction in QuickBooks Desktop and when you click Save and Close, you get the message:
Transaction processing failure The remote servers response reported an error. Try again later. If the error continues, contact QuickBooks technical support.
This message is usually a result of the the card types in the Payment Method List being set up as cash.
In the Merchant Service Center, check to see if the transaction has been processed. If it has not, complete the following steps in QuickBooks Desktop.
