Import QuickBooks balances into ProSeries

When trying to import QuickBooks balances into ProSeries you get an error, " No information was imported from (company file) to ProSeries". Please be sure you have assigned the information in QuickBooks.

Solution Description

When trying to import QuickBooks balances in to ProSeries you get an error: No information was imported from (company file) to ProSeries. Please be sure you have assigned the information in QuickBooks.

  1. Assure that all accounts are assigned in the QuickBooks company file. If they are not assigned, assign them and try the import again.
  2. If you are still unable to export, try exporting out of a different QuickBooks company file.

If you are able to export QuickBooks balances to ProSeries then you know it has to do with the QuickBooks Company file or the ProSeries file to which it is exporting.

To find out if it is QuickBooks File or ProSeries file follow these steps:

  1. Rename the ProSeries file.
  2. Export out the QuickBooks Balance to ProSeries again.

If it worked, you know that has to do with the ProSeries file, if it did not work then you know it has to with the QuickBooks Company file.

To fix the QuickBooks Company:

  1. Use the basic data damage troubleshooting.
  2. Export out the QuickBooks Balance to ProSeries again.

If you are unable to export out of a different QuickBooks company file then ;

  1. Run reboot.bat on QuickBooks.
  2. Try again to export out the balances to ProSeries.
  3. If it still does not work, do a clean uninstall and reinstall on QuickBooks.
  4. Try again to export out the balances to ProSeries.
  5. If same issue is happening uninstall and reinstall ProSeries.
