Loan Manager will not show a Newly Created Lender (Vendor) or Account Name (Liability Account)

In the Loan Manager, you add a new Lender or Account but it does not display.
How to fix it

To Resolve this Issue:

  1. Close out of the Loan Manager, then go back in.
  2. You will now see the new Lender or Account.
Note: This issue occurs because when you open the Loan Manager, it reads Lenders (Vendors) and Accounts (Liability Accounts) upon starting the Loan Manager. If you create a new Lender or Account while the Loan Manager is still open, it does not refresh that data until you close and reopen the Loan Manager.

If that does not resolve the issue:

  1. Close the Loan Manager.
  2. Re-sort the "Master" QuickBooks Lists.
  3. Make sure the opening balance of the newly created liability account is on or before the loan creation date.
Note: This issue can occur because the Loan Manager can not read the QuickBooks index. By resorting ALL of the master lists, it allows for the Loan Manager to read the index.
