Customer's name not displaying when emailing an Invoice, Estimate, Sales Order or Sales Receipt

When sending one of the following to a customer (Invoice, Estimates, Statements, Sales Orders, Sale Receipt, Credit Memo, Purchase Order, Report, Pay Stubs, Over Due Invoices, Almost Due Invoices), the email displays "Dear Customer".

Why this is happening:

By default, QuickBooks uses "Dear Customer" when the First Name and Last Name fields on the customer's profile are blank.
